Goodyera schlechtendaliana is one of the jewel orchids, as it impresses in particular with its decorative foliage, which has a net-like pattern of cream-colored leaf veins as it matures. It is not often found in the trade and is therefore sought after by collectors. With good care, it also produces pretty white flowers with fine hairs.
