Description

With its bright orange-yellow flowers, it is visually similar to Dendrobium jenkinsii, but is characterized by inflorescences with significantly more flowers. In terms of its ambient temperature, it has a certain degree of flexibility when kept, as it grows in the wild as an epiphyte under different climatic conditions. It can be kept in a terrarium as well as indoors, as long as it is provided with sufficient humidity.
The product photos show examples of the plant. You will receive a specimen that corresponds to the product photos in terms of size, shape and coloring.

Ben's tips on plant care:

- Location/light requirements: semi-shaded to bright, but avoid direct sunlight
- Substrate: mounted on Xaxim or in well-drained orchid substrate with good drainage
- Temperature: optimal at 24-29 °C (day), 15-20 °C (night)
- Watering: Spray regularly when mounted, but allow the plant to dry out well. Otherwise water 1-2 times a week when the upper substrate layers begin to dry. Only use lukewarm water with a low lime content. Water less in winter.
- Humidity: requires high humidity, use a humidifier or place it in the terrarium
- Addition of nutrients: Only fertilize moderately every 1-2 weeks with diluted orchid fertilizer during the growth period.
- A slightly drier and cooler environment in winter promotes flower production in spring.
