Description

The pale pink stem of this amorphophallus, dotted with dark spots, almost somewhat resembles the fur of a Dalmatian dog, which alone gives it an unusual appearance. Its umbrella-shaped leaves and large cream-colored flowers then add to its decorative qualities. Its care is not too complicated, taking into account its dormancy in winter.
The product photos show examples of the plant. You will receive a specimen that corresponds in size, shape and coloring to the product photos.

Ben's tips on plant care:

- To help the bulb sprout, it can be kept moderately moist in garden soil, then water more sparingly!
- Habitat/Light requirements: partial shade to light, but avoid direct sunlight
- Substrate: high quality garden soil (sand/loam mixture) with good drainage
- Temperature: optimal at 15 - 28 °C° C, do not let cool down below 10° C
- Watering: water moderately with low-lime, lukewarm water about 1-2 times per week during the growing season, in winter no more than 1 time per month
- Humidity: moderately high humidity, avoid heating air, spray occasionally
- Nutrient addition: in the growth phase, fertilize weakly with diluted liquid fertilizer every 4-6 weeks.
- Repot once a year when the soil is heavily rooted.
- Discards foliage in winter and must survive as a bulb. Then water sparingly every 4 weeks at most.
