Description

In the wild, the leaves of these plants can grow up to 150 cm long. In indoor cultivation, they remain much smaller, but are nevertheless a real eye-catcher with their velvety-dark texture and metallic shimmer. In the wild, this plant has so far only been discovered in the mountain forests of the Cundinamarca region in Colombia and is therefore rarely found on the market.
The product photos show examples of the plant. You will receive a specimen that matches the product photos in size, shape and colouring.

- Substrate: Ben's Philodendron & Monstera Soil
- Temperature: optimum at 21° C (day), approx. 18° C (night), do not let cool down below 13° C
- Watering: water every 3-4 days when the top layer of substrate becomes slightly dry, in winter once a week, avoid waterlogging, use lukewarm and low-calcium water
- Humidity: needs high humidity, place in bathroom or use humidifier
- Nutrient addition: fertilise moderately every 6-8 weeks in spring/summer
- Grows slowly, can be repotted  after 2-3 years when the soil is densely rooted and dries out more quickly.
- Avoid draughts.
