This moss is used to mount bromeliads and other epiphytes to provide moisture and save the plants from drying up. It can be used as a layer on top of the soil in your vivarium. After some weeks it will begin to grow and create a nice green surface.

 

Requirements: easy to keep
Origin: German forest
Vivarium: rainforest
Tank size: no restrictions
Temperature: about 15°C - 29°C
Climate: high humidity
Light: middle lighting intensity

 

Hints:

This moss grows very well on tree fern products which can be also obtained in our shop.
