Neoregelia ampullacea, purple

N.ampullacea is known for its wide variety of colours and shapes. There are small forms with about 5cm in height and some large forms with 15 cm in height.
Even the colours are often different between the morphs. There are red, black, dark green, light green and even bronze ones.
 

Hints:
This bromeliad should be mounted on a treefern root branch with a small amount of live moss because it can`t handle "wet feet". All the products mentioned can also be obtained in the online shop.

This plant is different from the other N.ampullacea we offer by the colour of the pattern and by its size.
